We have grown fast and we continue to maintain a strong following. August of 2007 was a great month for Dumb Little Man as we were named as one of the 30 Most Popular Blogs on the Internet by eBizMBA.

With over 60,000 RSS feed subscribers and frequent traffic from major sites, I don't see any reason to think this trend of will cease.

Our audience is quite the opposite of our blog's goofy name. Based on their comments and email suggestions, I believe our readers are quite intelligent and have an above-average knowledge of technology, entrepreneurship, and overall productivity. Most importantly, they are dying to learn about things that make life easier.

Advertising Options

Before I detail these options, know that I am picky on sponsors. If you are advertising for payday loans or anything remotely shady, I will decline. While the revenue would be nice, I have a pure concern for my readers and I will not tempt them with items that I don't think are in their best interests.

So, with that, here you go:

  • CPM Banner Ads - We have partnered with Federated Media and they handle the most visible ad placements on Dumb Little Man.   All of these ads are above the fold and will be placed on 100% of our pages. The ads are all CPM (Cost per Thousand) and today's rate may be viewed here.
  • Text Links: These text ads are are available on all 950+ pages of Dumb Little Man. To obtain pricing or ordering information, please visit AdEngage. 
  • 125x125 Banners - Located just below the fold, we offer 2 spots sized at 125x125.   I manage these myself and the rate is a flat $500 for 30 days. 
  • Feed Ads - We have over 60K feed subscribers and your text ad will be seen by tons of people multiple times each week.  Again, I manage this myself so send in your ad copy for review.  Each ad may contain up to 2 links to your site or affiliate.  The ad must be 100% text.  No images are allowed.  A one week placement in our feed is $75 and a 1 month placement is $250.  If you are not good at writing ads, let me know and I can help
